Limor Rosen 2017 Collection – Birds of Paradise

Israeli bridal designer Limor Rosen had our hearts a flutter when she launched her magnificent Birds of Paradise collection at New York Bridal Market this year. Without a doubt her most romantic collection to date, Birds of Paradise represents a softer, more bohemian edge to the brand, while still maintaining its signature couture feel. The stand out from Birds for us, has to be the choice of fabrics – delicate lace takes centre stage in most of these gowns, whether through a sultry off-the-shoulder neckline, gorgeous long sleeves, or as a full overlay.

Although these gowns feel quite soft and dainty, there’s a real sharpness to this collection, found in the daring thigh splits, plunging necklines and of course some beautifully bold figure-hugging separates. We’re especially obsessed with the glorious Eve, a contemporary, boho feel lace applique gown with stunning hand beading, the prettiest lace neckline and a fairy-tale blush tulle skirt. Our other pick is the understated Aria, a simple A-line that makes an impact. There’s something so alluring about the beaded tulle and lace hand sewn top, deep V back and neck and the delicate, blush tulle skirt finished with a romantic train – don’t you agree?
