Hands up if you could spend hours looking at pictures of wedding dresses! I know it’s not just me. One of my absolute fave things to do is look at REAL brides in their dresses. There’s just something so magical about seeing the sparkle in their eye, knowing that they’ve each picked a dress that is perfect for them! I spent an unhealthy amount of time looking at photos while putting this blog post together (you’re welcome) and I hope you find it inspiring.

New Brand Alert: jolie bridal From BERTA
We love to see amazing bridal designers expanding their offerings with new lines, and that’s exactly what the bridal fashion house BERTA has done – let us introduce you to jolie bridal.
Taking a different angel on traditional bridal fashion, this new line is set to disrupt the industry and bring a breath of fresh air to bridal as we know it.
As a separate and independent brand under the BERTA fashion house, jolie will become available soon in many new locations worldwide. Jolie has a significantly lower price point than other brands within the fashion house, all the while keeping the high production and design standards that are synonymous with BERTA. Authorised jolie retailers are now in the selection process, and the first debut collection will arrive in stores as early as this 2020 Spring/Summer.

WOL Loves: Long Sleeve Wedding Gowns
Do you love the idea of wearing an elegant long sleeve wedding gown? You certainly aren’t alone, and thats a good thing!
In the last few years the love of long sleeve options for brides has grown and we are delighted. Who remembers the strapless dress phenomenon during the early 00’s? Thankfully we have moved on from the bare shoulder look, and it’s pretty clear to see we need to thank royalty for that shift in popularity.
Before Kate Middleton married Prince William in April 2011, long sleeve wedding gowns were around, but not overly popular unless you were having a wedding in the frozen depths of winter. Kate’s ivory and white satin dress featured long sleeves and a bodice covered in couture lace and we haven’t stopped loving it ever since. She proved long sleeve wedding gowns were stylish and elegant and they could be worn throughout the year, not just in winter.
