The Incredibly Elegant Elbeth Gillis Bridal Collection

Year after year Cape Town-based Elbeth Gillis treats us to incredible bridal collections, and it seems with every offering the designer just gets stronger. With her signature refinement and fierce attention to intricate details she adds a fresh eye to what have become the biggest modern trends in bridal. This year the designer adds two new capsule collections to her catalogue – one, Luxury, is Elbeth’s calling card – fine fabrics, sensual silhouettes and fabulous features such as plunging backs and illusion and lace necklines, grown up glamour for sophisticated, confident brides. The other more playful Honey and Milk is Elbeth trying something completely different. Comprised of fun, 50s style separates that come together to represent a chic yet youthful feel, with delicious lace and beautiful cover-ups adding elegance and unifying Elbeth’s repetoire of beautiful bridal gowns. Today we’ve featured some of our favourite pieces from these collections, as well as some of Elbeth’s stand-out gowns from past collections, proving this is a designer whose timeless gowns will never be off trend.
